Sheni Labs Vitamin A is in active development — retinyl palmitate at exactly 100% of the EU daily reference value, in the same liquid drop format as Sheni Labs Vitamin D3.

Why Vitamin A

Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, normal skin and mucous membranes, normal iron metabolism, and the normal function of the immune system.[1] It is a genuinely fat-soluble vitamin, making the oil-drop format not a stylistic choice but the chemically correct delivery medium.

Why exactly 100% NRV — by design

Vitamin A is the one vitamin in the Sheni Labs line where more is demonstrably not better. Preformed vitamin A (retinol and its esters) accumulates in the liver, and the EU tolerable upper intake level is 3,000 µg RE per day — only 3.75× the daily reference value. Chronic excess is harmful, and high intakes in pregnancy are teratogenic. Sheni Labs Vitamin A is therefore deliberately dosed at 800 µg RE per drop: the full daily reference value, and not one microgram more. A supplement should close a gap, not create a new risk.
